Overview
The purpose of the role is to develop, establish and maintain sales and marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Effective management of the sales, marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting and coordinating with dealers and distributors and maintaining sales targets and goals.
- Tracking the growth and the progress of the leads who are assigned sales targets.
- Providing training to the sales force personnel.
- Periodical review and performance appraisal of the sales force team.
- Coordinating with other departments on product development and market or business development.
- Following the progress of the leads with their sales targets.
- Generating intelligence of company competitors.
- Managing the sales force and the distribution chain.
- Conducting trade fairs and corporate events.
- Handling the queries and clearing the doubts of the clients and customers in a precise and concise manner.
- Managing and coordinating all sales, marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
- Developing and implementing sales, marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
- Managing the productivity of the sale, marketing plans and projects.
- Monitoring and reporting on all sales and marketing activity and results.
- Deterring and managing the marketing budget.
- Delivering marketing and promotion activity within an agreed budget.
- Reporting on return on investment.
- Liaising with media and advertising.
Job Requirements
Skills and Specifications:
- Excellent sales skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Self motivated.
- Must have driving license and can undertake traveling
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal and project management and execution skills.
- At least 5 Years experience in related fields.
- Key knowledge about the oil and gas industry in East Africa
Education and Qualifications
A Degree or MBA in Sales and marketing from an accredited business school or institute.
